I have some exciting news to share.
Before I announce this news, here is a little back story for reference. My husband and I got married a little over a year ago. To be honest our first year of marriage we went through one of the hardest times in our lives. My anxiety was severe. My husband was having health problems (nothing serious, praise God) and anxiety. It was truly a hard time for us, but God was faithful and carried us through that season and we grew closer together for it. During that time a missionary friend of ours was about to move to Austria. My husband used to be a missionary in Austria and at one point I was too. I was able to spend six months on the mission field in Austria before my husband and I got married. I lived with a German girl who is still my friend. Anyway, our missionary friend was talking/praying with us about the possibility of us also moving there. Nothing ever happened and we know that is because God’s will was for us to stay in America.
Things began to improve for my husband and I, but eventually it became difficult again. When we were expressing this to someone they suggested us taking a few months off from life here, and going to Austria. We thought about the idea and decided to pray about it. There were a lot of doors that the Lord needed to open.
“It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed””(Deuteronomy 31:8).
This is exactly what happened. The Lord opened all the doors. What we thought would be difficult, was really simple.
So, what is the exciting news? My husband and I will be going back to Austria for a little while. We really see this as the Lord grace. He knows and sees all things. He knows it’s been difficult for us and has given us this opportunity to rest. We are completely blown away with how quickly and simply this has happened. The Lord has done all the work. We are absolutely overjoyed for this season.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen”(Ephesians 3:20-21).
