Vintage / A French Brasserie

First let me say to everyone, Happy New Year. I hope that you all had a blessed New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. I spent the first day of 2019 in Vail, Colorado with my husband and my family. We had a lovely brunch at this adorable French brasserie called Vintage.

We have all been to Paris, France and absolutely love it there. So, this was such a nice place to remind us of Paris. There are little bistro tables and chairs outside that make it feel like a café in Paris.

Not to mention, the food was delicious. They also have coffee, obviously. They actually use Lavazza (an Italian coffee brand) for their coffee, which is nice. I had a hazelnut latte and thought it was good.

It’s no secret, the French are known for their croissants. Vintage has freshly baked croissants on the brunch menu. The day we went, they only had the plain croissant, but (according to the menu) they also have a chocolate croissant. When my croissant arrived at the table, it was warm. There was also butter and jam on the plate. This was a pretty good croissant.

I also had the “American Galette” and it was delicious. Basically it’s a puff pastry with bacon, cheese, and tomato. It’s topped with an egg and sliced avocado. It also comes with a small salad that has dried figs and walnuts on it. I didn’t eat the salad though.

We all really enjoyed Vintage. They serve brunch and dinner (we have not tried the dinner). I would definitely recommend having brunch at Vintage.
