If you are someone who loves makeup, chances are you have already heard about the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette. I had seen this beautiful palette for a while, and my sweet husband got it for me this Valentine’s Day. Let me tell you this palette is beautiful, both the product and the packaging.
This palette comes with four different shades. There is a white and a gold shade which are highlighters. Then there is a pink and a bronze shade which are actually meant to be blush. I would probably use the pink shade as a blush topper and the bronze shade to give a glow to my bronzer.
This palette is 45$ which is expensive, but keep in mind it’s a luxury brand. Luxury brands come with expensive prices.
(quick side note)
Ladies, there are affordable highlighter options. Let me know if you’d like a blog post about affordable highlighter options.
(anyway back to the palette)
I have been using this palette for a little while now. It really is beautiful. I actually combine the white and gold shades for my highlight. When I used this highlighter for the first time, I thought that it was more natural. Personally, I love an intense highlight and this didn’t seem very intense at first. However, my first impression was wrong. This is an intense highlight. If you get more of the product on your brush or build it up, it’s a beautiful and intense highlight.
I don’t really have an opinion on the two blush shades yet. I have only used the pink shade once and haven’t used the bronze shade. Most likely, the white and gold will be the most used shades for me. I will keep you all updated on how I feel about the pink and bronze shade once I use them more.
I won’t tell you that you need to purchase this, because honestly you don’t. It is very expensive, like I mentioned before. However, I’m really happy with this palette and if you can afford it, you just might really like it.
